Mumbai (Maharashtra), October 4: As the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 11 approaches, Pawan Sehrawat, star player of the Telugu Titans, shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming season and the opening match against the Bengaluru Bulls, scheduled for October 18.

Pawan is a key player for the Titans, a team that has yet to win a PKL title but has made it to the playoffs twice since the league's inception in 2014.

During the first edition of the 'Star Sports Press Room,' Pawan expressed his eagerness for the team's opening match at their home ground. Reflecting on the presence of Pardeep and last season's coach, Randhir, he discussed the importance of fan support, saying, "Yes, the support of the fans is crucial because they will be backing us. This is our venue, our home, so we will gain from that. Plus, we’re going up against Bengaluru Bulls, my former team, where I played two seasons ago. It will be an exciting match, and I look forward to playing in front of the coach."

When asked about the team's defenders, like Krishan Dhul, and the pressure on him due to the absence of a prominent star raider, he stated, "I believe the team has very talented raiders. We also have supporting raiders. You’ll see that in the match on the 18th. Our lineup includes Vijay, Ashish, Manjeet, Sanjeev, Praful, and Omkar."

Reflecting on how the PKL and the art of raiding have evolved, he remarked, "The game changes daily. The way we played in Season 3 is different now. Some skills have been added, and some have been lost. It can have both positive and negative aspects, but with more experience, it generally leans toward the positive. When Pardeep Narwal debuted in Season 2, he had fewer skills. By Season 11, he has developed more. The same applies to me; in Season 3, I had one or two skills. Now, in Season 11, my skills have evolved, my speed has improved, and my experience has grown. It’s been a good journey, and it's a long one."
