Dubai [UAE], September 6: With less than a month remaining until the eagerly awaited ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024, the Trophy Tour has officially commenced. The tour kicked off in Dubai with a stunning display, showcasing the prestigious trophy at some of the city's most iconic landmarks on September 3, marking 30 days before the tournament's opening match at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

The trophy embarked on a dazzling 24-hour journey through Dubai, stopping at scenic spots like Half Desert Dubai, the Dubai Frame, the Museum of the Future, and the breathtaking Dubai Sunrise. This impressive start has set an exciting tone for the tour, heightening anticipation for what promises to be a thrilling tournament.

Following its glamorous Dubai debut, the Trophy Tour will head to India. It will arrive in Bengaluru on September 6 at the Karnataka Institute of Cricket (KIOC), a key venue for developing young female cricket talent, before moving on to Mumbai on September 10. Fans can view the trophy up close at Nexus Mall in Bengaluru on September 7 and 8, and at Infinity Mall in Malad, Mumbai, on September 14 and 15.

After its time in India, the trophy will travel to Sri Lanka and Bangladesh before returning to the UAE for the tournament's opening. Each stop on the tour is part of the ICC's initiative to engage cricket fans globally and enhance the visibility of women's cricket.
